10/28/2010 CAMPTURE

sorry for a little delay :)

"Location scouting is a vital process in the pre-production stage of filmmaking and commercial photography."

It can be easy. You can easily find spots where you usually hang out with friends or, you can simply extend the range to somewhere near by.
It can also be laborious. That's when you go out hunting, discovering something new.
Every photographer has his/her own favos. Locations that they shoot for every project.
If you constantly browse photos online (say, wedding and engagement session photos), soon you will realize that it's not always easy to find dissimilar places.
And photographers are always trying to make every photo stand out.
My first time doing location scouting was quite interesting. It's like nanoscale discover around where you live.
As a vital process in pre-production, I will be pretty enjoying it and see how far could we go.
